Women burying corpses and Margo Martindale as the head of a criminal operation is all I needed to read to put this movie in my must-watch list. I really don't have anything else to say, except that the rest of the cast is also fire (Morgan Saylor, Sophie Lowe, June Squibb and Annette O'Toole).
I love checking out films by female directors at Tribeca because they always have these great stories that focus on characters and their relationships. Starring Sydney Sweeney (from one of my favorite shows on Netflix, Everything Sucks!) and Otmara Marrero.
I have heard so many amazing things about this film, especially Jessie Buckley's performance. Cannot wait to finally get to see it!
One of the few series to have accurate and valid Latinx representation, the first season of Vida was excellent and set the bar pretty high up. I have a feeling that this talented cast and crew won't have a problem bringing it home.
I loved reading the premise of American Woman. Definitely one of those films that you would only be able to enjoy at a film festival and you won't stop talking about for weeks.
The Tribeca Film Festival runs beginning April 24th through May 5th. For more info visit
