Tribeca TV Festival Makes Its Debut with Screenings of Liar, Queen Sugar, Ten Days in the Valley and More!
The Tribeca TV Festival is set to make its debut in New York City, running from September 22nd to the 24th. Those who have attended the Tribeca Film Festival in the past might be familiar with it including TV shows as part of their programming ('The Handmaid's Tale,' 'The Night Of,' and Mr. Robot are just a few that have been presented in the past few years). Now, this new "festival spinoff" will focus solely on episodic shows and hopes it will bring "people together to discover and celebrate episodic storytelling on any screen - from TV to online, mobile to VR."

Some of the shows that will be screened for the first time include 'At Home with Amy Sedaris,' 'Liar,' and ABC's 'Ten Days in the Valley.' Other shows like 'Gotham,' 'Red Oaks,' and 'Queen Sugar' will have discussions with certain cast members after each screening. The main panel is a discussion with the 'Will & Grace' cast and co-creators/executive producers David Lohan and Max Mutchnick.
